Pensi La

Pensi La (4400m) separates the Zanskar and Suru Valleys. It was the first pass we had to get over since we trekked into Zanskar over Shingo La. The views from the climb were spectacular but we faced cold, fierce headwinds forcing us to spend a night camping at the summit (which turned out to be the most stunning campsite of our trip).
