Day 7 - Baldvinsskáli to Skógar
Our last day of trekking was a breeze, 15kms with 1000m of descent and 50m of ascent. Clouds and fog obscured our views for the first half of the descent. As we approached Skógar the skies cleared and we got to admire the dozens of waterfalls that lead to the final Skógafoss. By the early evening, the hundreds of day trippers had disappeared, leaving only the campers at the base of the waterfalls. The sound of the falls lulled us to sleep after a huge dinner of potatoes, cheese and salami, our first real food in 10 days!
