Cormorant Fishing

Mr. Yang is the fourth (and last) generation of his family to practise cormorant fishing. The water birds are trained to catch fish and degorge them onto their masters boat, actually there is a small blade of grass tied around their neck so that they cannot swallow big fish. The birds are then lured to the boat where they are grabbed and the fish promptly removed from their long necks. The birds amazingly obey their masters commands and follow the boat around continuously diving for more fish.
