Qingdao
Qingdao is a prosperous coastal city in the eastern province of Shandong. The Germans controlled the city from roughly 1898 to the arrival of the Japanese in WW1, leaving behind colonial buildings and China's most famous brewery, Tsintao Brewery. Other than walking through the old town or along the beach, there isn't too much to do but enjoy the fresh seafood and the beer.
