Xining and Ta'er Si

Xining is the bustling capital of Qinghai Province, home to Hui Muslims, Tibetans minorities and a great night market. Nearby is Ta'er Si a monastery at the birthplace of the founder of the Yellow Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Now mainly a Chinese tourist attraction more than an active monastery.
