Xiaban and Taxia
Yuchang Tulou is a large tulou in Xiaban village. It is well-known due to the fact that most of its wooden beams warped shortly after construction and its name translated to the 'dilapidated building'. Even though the beams are crooked the tulou is still standing and inhabited after about 100 years. Taxia village is a small village down the river from Xiaban home to a few smaller tulous. The village sits on both sides of the river and has lovely stone bridges linking the two sides.
