Battambang

Battambang a city fairly close to the border with Thailand. The town itself seemed a bit sleazy at times, with the older men paired off with much younger Cambodian girls but the lovely colonial architecture saves the day. In the area around Battambang there are some killing fields and a few temples but we chose to visit (and take a ride on) the bamboo train a unique feature of the area.
