Sucre
Sucre, Bolivia's legislative capital is home to white-washed, colonial architecture and a warmer climate than neighbouring Altiplano towns. We enjoyed the lower altitude, warmer weather and the delicious tropical fruits sold in gigantic portions. When we visited in August 2008, it had recently been the site of racial tension between Bolivians of Spanish descent and Indigenous Bolivians.
