Chittagong

Chittagong is Bangladesh's second largest city and its largest port. It sits on the Karnafuli river, that opens onto the Bay of Bengal only a few dozen kilometers away. We rode the lovely Bangladesh train from Dhaka to Chittagong and spent an afternoon exploring the port and the Marine Fisheries Academy. The streets and markets were busy with people unloading crates of mangoes, jackfruits, lychees and pineapples. That didn't stop every other person from wanting to be photographed or photograph us!
