Akhaltsikhe
We used Akhaltsikhe as a base for resting and sightseeing, spending 3 nights there after our climb over Goderdzi Pass. From Akhaltsikhe we visited nearby Sapara Monastery, Khertvisi Fortress and Vardzia cave monastery.
